The $262 XO shifters have adjustable pull levers, ball bearings, and are available in three colors.

While the top-of-the-line XX1 11-speed system is getting most of the press these days, SRAM has updated its 10-speed systems with trickle-down technologies across the board.

The XO, X9 and X7 shifters have all been redesigned. All three now have internals derived from the 10-speed XX group, including zero-loss shifting, a German-engineered mechanism, a smaller body and all are Matchmaker compatible. They are shipping now.

The $123 X9 shifters have the ball bearing mechanism, and the $70 X7 version has a quick cable change port.

Also new is a redesigned X7 rear derailleur with the Type 2 clutch mechanism that reduces chain slap. There will be short, medium and long cage versions, with the long being 36-tooth compatible.

It too is available now for $89.
