ARAYA MOUNTAIN BIKE RIMS
Araya was founded 1903 and made use of the "Japanese Heritage Technology" and produced wooden rims for for bicycles for the first time in Japan. The steel industry just began in the early 20th century, but Araya succeeded in steel rim production with roll-forming technology in 1914. Araya continued an action to advanced material-engineering and produced Aluminum alloy rim from the early days for pursuit of the lightweighting. Bicycle rims made by Titanium, Magnesium alloy, Carbon-fiber and High-tensile stainless-steel with super lightweight have been also developed. These techniques became the basis of the Araya technologies and spread out its steel-tube production. In addition, Araya established a factory in Indonesia in 1971 and started production afterwards. By more than a century of production experience and unceasing innovation, Araya aims to continue researching for global production by offering bicycle rims and wheels to the global market.
